Carla Caramat, Co-Founder
Carla Caramat is managing partner for the Blende Dental Group (where she has worked since 1997) and Co-Founder of House Call Dentists and Dentists on Demand. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University with a focus in Industrial Organization and completed an executive education program at Harvard Business School. Her purview includes not only managing one of the largest private dental practices in San Francisco and New York, she has also worked with the special needs population for over a decade.
Carla is an avid runner and cycler who enjoys swimming in the SF Bay. In her spare time, Carla likes to travel around the world, cook delicious meals for her loved ones, and practice her piano and dancing skills. Through the foundation’s outreach efforts, she hopes to improve the lives of those who need the most assistance.
Emmylou Santos, Co-Founder
Emmylou Santos is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of A.G.E.S. Learning Solutions, an agency providing behavioral consultation, training, and treatment services to the special needs population since 2008. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University and her Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Applied Behavior Analysis from University of the Pacific. She has worked in the field of behavior analysis and with clients who have special needs since 2001.
Emmylou loves being in nature (hiking, skiing), exploring new places to eat, and engaging in various daredevil adventures (skydiving, hang gliding, zip lining, snowmobiling – nothing is too crazy!). She is excited to be part of a foundation that focuses on aiding the underserved communities of her homeland.
Jorgia Salonga, Programs Director
Ms. Jorgia Antoinette Salonga is the Program and Administrative Officer of Council of Asian Liberals and Democrats (CALD) and works closely with CALD Women’s Caucus and CALD Youth. She first joined CALD in 2012 and has also worked with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty. Ms. Salonga holds a Bachelor Degree in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs from De La Salle University – College of Saint Benilde.
